Nagpur: SIO completed its First Regional Convention of Maharashtra North Zone Successfully at Qidwai Ground, Lashkari Bagh, Nagpur.

In this historical convention Nagpur,Wardha, Bhandara, Yavatmal, Gondia, Chandrpur were included. Students from all above Districts participated in this event.

The theme of the convention was “Come towards Success’’. All India president of SIO Md Azharuddin by connecting the anecdotes said “SIO always stands ahead for better construction of India, whichever the period past, present or future”. “SIO is writing success story of tomorrow’s India” he added.

Thousands of participants were presents in the convention. Moulana Ejaz Aslam (All India secretary of Jamat E Islami  Hind & Speaker in peace tv, ZEE salam) also invited for the convention on describing the central theme to the young ,dynamic ,vibrant students. He quoted lines of Dr.Iqbal “Mohabbat Mujhe Un jawano se Hai….surayya par dalte hai jo kamam”. He insisted that not to become a self centric & self oriented, you also have responsibility towards society and nation and addressing the gathering Rizwanurrahaman Khan (vice president of JIH Maharashtra) said “Youths always played a vital role in any revolution in this world. Youths had change the society, culture, systems etc. You are vibrant and have guts to shun the evil & restore the peace.

Sharique Ansar (Campus sec. SIO of India) delivered his knowledgeable lecture on “Indian education system…Problems and Alternatives”. He noted the seen and unseen drawbacks of system and provided the solution as well.

On second session which was started after the break, Suhail Ameer Sheikh (Zonal president of SIO Maharashtra North Zone) stated “Today’s man discovered everything almost in every field. But Alas! He failed in his most important, dearer and most precious field. It is nothing but …his own soul… self …his own personality. Maulana Abdul Qavi Falahi Siddiqui (Aurangabad) shared his Golden thoughts with the Students about peace …..Peace to humanity, the cure of all the diseases .The solution of all the problems and remedies to make the society peaceful, prosperous & happy. Islam …..The only solution...All the criminal cases in the country are because of less moral values, less attachments to the religion.
Last but not the least; the most important concluding message was given by Br. Md Azharuddin (National President SIO of India). He said that it is the era of explosion of Knowledge and explosion change, now failure of all systems are happening, movements around the world are emerging and gathering to remove the corruption to make India corruption free, the middle east revolution, the face book status of a young girl which ignited the TAHRIR square. After giving such examples, he urged that students to join the campaign for glorious change and to become a part of world’s largest students organization ‘SIO of India’.

Convention convener Br. Umar Khan, Asst. convener Br. Zeeshan Omar and other Zonal bearers were present at the occasion. By the hard work of  all the members and volunteers finally convention concluded.

Nagpur: On 11th of December, 2011 Student Islamic Organization (SIO) Nagpur unit conducted a Dawah Training Workshop to uphold the real concept of Dawah. The one day workshop concluded with great zeal among participants.

The workshop started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Md. Zaheer (Local Pres. Nagpur West). After the recitation of the holy Quran, the inaugural speech delivered by Br. Zeeshan Omar (Local Pres. Nagpur East).

Inaugural words concluded with applauses and then it turned towards the brief introduction of prominent religions.

1. Hinduism & Christianity by Wajid Ali Khan Sahab.
2. Buddhism by Umar Khade Sahab.

After the brief intro of the religions, Umar Khade Sahab gave his experience on Dawah, as experience is also a mean of education and through his experience he told that there was neither a single stone was thrown on him nor even brutal person was seen. After various experience of Umar Khade Sahab, Wajid Ali Khan Sahab elucidated the concept of God in other religions and it was evident that all of them accept the concept of God.

Anchor Br. Ahmed Hamza (Campus Sec. Nagpur East) announced the student to solve their query with the expert present on the dice Mr. Umar Khade,Mr. Wajid Ali Khan & Suhail Ameer Sheikh. After the query session there was concluding words given by Suhail Ameer Sheikh (Zonal President MNZ) which was totally filled with Avuncular (courage) for the students. The work of members was revealed in front of the students by Navaid Ahmed. After abbreviate words of thanks, the student were moved out for giving Dawah to non-Muslim by the 7 points given by Wajid Ali Khan Sahab. At last all the students went home with an enthusiasm to carry on this Prophetic mission throughout their life. Around 70 students were present in the workshop. One of the feedback form received had stated “is workshop ne hamein neend se jagadiya”

NAGPUR: Students Islamic Organization of India NAGPUR unit (Maharashtra North) successfully organized the inter-school level competitions. It is one of the activity done under JAC (junior associate circle) the children group of SIO. This campaign covered the various competitions like sports, drawing, knowledge test and speech. There were two groups formed, 5th to 7th standard & another 8th to 9th.

Football & Marble race were conducted. Hundreds of students participated in competition; both sports played in EIDGAH ground, Jafar Nagar, Nagpur. 8 top teams from schools were finalized. Hundreds of People were gathered to see the young generation with so many skills. Finally Qidwai High School grabs the winning prize and M.A.K. Azad School lost the position stands with runner up.

The knowledge test & Drawing competition was conducted at Qidwai High School & junior college. Numerous students came up with great enthusiasm and participated with a joy! MR. Azmat Baig gave the tips & techniques in their studies in front of the gathering.

The last but not the least! The speech competition held, starting with the recitation of Holy Qur’an. Participants from various schools participated & amazed the audience from their oratory skill! The competition was judge by Mr. Anees Ahmed (Rtd. Joint commissioner of Income Tax), Mr. Azizurrahman Khan (District president JIH, NGP.) and Dr. Anwar Siddiqui (MD). Adnanurrahman won the hearts of audience as well as Judges and grab the winning trophy.

Prize distribution ceremony in the presence of Honorable Zonal president of SIO Maharashtra North Zone Mr. Suhail Ameer Sheikh, while inaugural words were given by Zeeshan Omar (local president East Nagpur), anchoring done by Faizanurrahman Khan, motivational lecture given by  Mr. Khwaja Izhar Ahmed (Asst. Prof. Anjuman College of Engineering & Tech.). Students were felicitated by many prizes & now they are promoted to state level competition. Concluding speech given by Honorable Zonal President.

Brotherhood day...celebrated by sio nagpur unit. on protesting valentine day. The day is celebrated in ashrams & orphans..fruits and clothes were distributed among the deserving people.
